One of the biggest difficulties when you have been diagnosed with a cause of infertility is the inability to relax and take it easy. Yoga poses create better blood flow to the reproductive organs in both men and women, and calm the mind. This page explains eight asanas from the Welling fertility yoga plan, how to do each, and how they fit with medical care and homeopathic treatment.

- Not a substitute for: tests and treatment of the cause of infertility.
How can yoga help you conceive?
Yoga poses create better blood flow to the reproductive organs, in both man and woman. Welling Fertility Yoga provides a balance of exercising the mind and body to create the right environment for a woman to conceive naturally.
Stress affects hormones as well, so reducing your stress level goes a long way towards balancing them. Our research into the detailed process of conception led us to the ancient Indian art of yoga and to a yoga plan to help you conceive naturally.

Eight yoga asanas for fertility
- 1. Lotus pose: sit on the floor with each foot resting on top of the opposite knee, arms outstretched and hands resting lightly on the knees. Use it to meditate on your goals and relax; it calms the body, lowers blood pressure and grounds you
- 2. Legs-on-the-wall pose: lie on your back with the legs raised up a wall. It relaxes the spine and hips and uses gravity; stay as long as it is comfortable
- 3. Supported bridge pose: raising the body into a bridge opens the pelvic region and increases blood flow and stimulation to the lower body
- 4. Cobra pose: lie on your stomach, hands under the shoulders, and as you exhale lift the top of your body, arching the back and neck while pressing the feet, legs and hips down. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds while breathing naturally. It opens the chest and increases blood flow to the pelvic and reproductive organs
- 5. Wide angle pose: opens and stretches the hips and legs and brings fresh blood to the lower region
- 6. Butterfly pose: sit with the feet together and pulled in as close as is comfortable, back straight, hands on the feet. Breathe deeply, close the eyes, focus on the pelvic organs and relax the muscles there
- 7. Child pose: on hands and knees, lean forward with arms stretched above the head and the forehead on the floor. It rejuvenates and relaxes the body
- 8. Pelvic tilt: lie on your back with the feet on the floor, relax the shoulders and lengthen the neck. On the out breath lift the pelvis towards the ceiling, take three slow breaths, then lower the spine one vertebra at a time. It brings blood to the pelvis and strengthens and relaxes the muscles there
Safety tips
- Learn the poses from a trained yoga teacher if you are new to them
- Never force a stretch; stop if you feel pain, dizziness or pulling in the pelvis or back
- Practise on an empty stomach, on a mat, in a quiet place
- Tell your doctor if you have an ovarian cyst, fibroids, endometriosis, a recent surgery or are pregnant
- Combine yoga with a healthy diet, enough sleep and breathing exercises or meditation

Yoga and Welling Homeopathy treatment
Yoga helps with relaxation and circulation, but it does not treat the cause of infertility. At Welling Homeopathy it is used alongside the Homeopathic Assisted Reproductive Treatment (HART) protocol. Please continue any treatment your fertility specialist has advised unless they tell you otherwise.
Our clinical experience
For the last 12 years, at Welling Clinic, we have pioneered the all natural way to conceive naturally through the traditional, authenticated Homeopathy treatment protocol. Even in the most hopeless situations, Homeopathy has come to rescue and helped couples, parent a child within 6 months without any artificial methods like IUI, IVF or any other treatment with fancy alphabets.
Coupled with our renowned HART treatment protocol, these yoga poses are all that may be required to change the current infertility status of yours and conceive at the earliest.
HART – Homeopathy Assisted Reproduction Therapy has helped closed to 10,200 couples, in more than 108 countries to have their own child, naturally. And we sincerely hope that the next couple to benefit from our expertise is you and your partner.
See our page on homeopathy infertility treatment (HART). Dr. Sourabh Welling and the Welling Homeopathy team have over 25 years of experience treating patients, in our Mumbai clinics and online.
